The community spirit at the Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park, downtown London was infectious. I met so many nice people who love the water, all levels of experience and I can't believe they go in the water for a 5 minute dip, then off to work.
I thought I would never enter this water on my own will, but peer pressure can do things the ego, so I made the plunge, reminded me of swimming in the weedy area at Coventry Lake.
Fun ride to get to the Serp and home.
